| This lovely and elegant 3* boutique hotel, is charming. It boasts a great location, on the left bank, between boulevard Saint Germain and the Musee Orsay. Only steps from the River Seine, and the entrance to Musee Orsay, it beckons to those who are searching for a small, ( 43 rooms) reasonably priced hotel. Brimming with rich color schemes, fine carpets and furnishings, each room offers modern wc/showers, direct dial telephones, mini-bar and color TVs. The English speaking staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfasts offer a variety of cheeses, fruits, cold cereals, sliced ham, yogurts and pastries, fresh cafe and juice. I have stayed at two of the other 46 Libertel hotels, the Savres Vaneau (2*) and Hotel Maxim (2*) and have experienced the same warmth and charm. Libertel has a variety of boutique hotels from 2 - 4 * in prime locations around Paris. The hotels are grouped in three categories (Libertel, Libertel Traditional and Libertel Grand Tradition). Sample summer promotion at the Libertel Grand Tradition Bellechasse would be 789 ff per night, 649 ff at Libertel Tradition Sevres Vaneau and 419 ff at the Libertel Maxim. |
